How to import your Nubank and Revolut statements into a finance app

Updated on 9 October 2026

Quick answer

Export the statement or card bill as a PDF or CSV from the bank app and upload the file to your finance app. MeJu reads Nubank and Revolut statements and card bills in PDF or CSV, organizes the transactions, skips duplicates and discards the original file after reading.

PDF or CSV: which to pick

CSV is a plain table and is usually the most reliable format for automatic reading. PDF is what the bank shows you, and works well, but the layout changes from time to time.

If the bank offers both, start with CSV. If it only has PDF, that is fine: use the full-period PDF, with no crops or screenshots.

How to export from Nubank

  • Open the Nubank app and go to the account area (for the statement) or the card area (for the bill).
  • Look for the option to request or export the statement and choose the period.
  • Pick the format, PDF or CSV, when the app offers it. In some cases the file arrives by email.
  • Save the file to your phone or computer.
  • Button names change between app versions. If you cannot find it, search for "statement" or "extrato" in the app or in Nubank's help.

How to export from Revolut

  • Open the Revolut app, pick the account or card and look for the statement option (often under "More" or "Statement").
  • Set the period and the format, PDF or CSV (or spreadsheet, depending on the app version).
  • Generate the document and save it to your device.
  • If you hold accounts in more than one currency, export one statement per currency.
  • Revolut's menus change too. When in doubt, check the bank's own help center.

Importing into MeJu

In MeJu, open statement import, choose the bank (Nubank or Revolut) and upload the file. You can import account statements and card bills, and MeJu tells them apart.

Before saving, you see the list of transactions that were read and can check it. Lines already imported before are skipped as duplicates. The original file is discarded after reading, and only the transactions are kept in your space, stored in the European Union (Ireland).

Things to check when importing

  • Compare the bank's total with the imported total. It is the fastest proof that nothing was missed.
  • Paying off a card bill is not spending: MeJu treats it as an internal movement so it is not counted twice.
  • Nubank is marked beta in MeJu: check the values before saving. Revolut has no such mark.
  • Use a closed period and avoid overlapping dates you already imported.

Frequently asked questions

How do I import a Nubank statement into a finance app?

Export the statement as a PDF or CSV from the Nubank app and upload the file to your finance app. In MeJu, pick Nubank as the bank, upload the file and review the list before saving.

Can MeJu import Revolut statements?

Yes, in PDF or CSV, including account statements and credit card statements. If you hold accounts in more than one currency, export one file per currency.

Does the app keep my statement PDF?

In MeJu, no. The file is read and discarded, and only the transactions are saved in your space.

What if I import the same statement twice?

Repeated lines are skipped as duplicates, so importing an overlapping period does not double your spending.

Does MeJu connect directly to Nubank or Revolut?

No. Import is by file, which keeps you in control of what goes in. If you want an automatic connection, MeJu does not offer one.

Why is Nubank marked beta?

Because it has not yet been checked against enough real statements. Reading usually works, but the notice asks you to check the values before saving.
